Let there be light... with spotlights and spots from Globo Lighting! In our assortment you will find both ceiling and wall spotlights in different designs: from vintage to classic and modern LED ceiling spots, which will make your home not only more beautiful but also brighter. In the following we will inform you about the advantages of spotlights and explain what you should look out for when selecting your ceiling spotlight or wall spotlight.
THREE REASONS FOR SPOTLIGHTS AND SPOTS
- THEY ENABLE FLEXIBLE, TARGETED ILLUMINATION
Did you know that the terms spot and spotlight are often used synonymously, but that their meanings are not quite identical? In fact, spots are smaller and provide punctual lighting, whilst spotlights emit their light at a greater angle. As far as their functionality is concerned, however, they have one important thing in common: they illuminate certain sections of the room in a targeted manner. Their ability to rotate and swivel allows you to use spotlights and spotlights to direct the eye to those objects or areas that you want to highlight. You decide individually and flexibly where the light cone falls.
- THEY ARE AVAILABLE AS SINGLE, DOUBLE OR MULTIPLE FLAME VERSIONS.
Depending on the area of application and desired light intensity, you can choose between single-, double- or multi-flame versions. Multi-flame spotlights provide intensive illumination of your kitchen or bright light in the hallway, while a single-flame version allows you to set discreet lighting accents, for example by illuminating a special painting with a spotlight.
- THEY ARE SUITABLE FOR DIRECT AND INDIRECT LIGHTING.
Last but not least, spots and spotlights make both direct and indirect lighting possible. So you have the choice: either you turn the spots so that light is emitted into the room, or you direct your spotlight towards the wall or ceiling. In this way you can provide indirect lighting that contributes to an atmospheric ambience within your four walls. THE RIGHT MODEL FOR EVERY TASTE AND STYLE When choosing your spotlight or spot, make sure that it fits in perfectly with the style of your interior. If your home is decorated in a more traditional, rural style, you should stick to this style with your new light. The same applies, of course, if your home has a modern or classic design. Breaking with style is certainly not a good idea! That is why we offer lighting in different designs. If you prefer a classic style, you can fall back on different series that will never go out of fashion thanks to their timelessly beautiful appearance. Their neutral colours, fabrics and crystals make them real classics, which harmonise with any discreet interior design style. Casual. Unconventional. Individual and creative. A little nostalgic, but currently very up-to-date. Our spots and spotlights in an industrial style combine factory charm and cosiness. The combination of metal and wood is ideally suited to various living trends and puts your shabby-chic, country house or industrial style of furnishing in the right light. Tip: If you use several lights from one product series, this will create a uniform, harmonious picture. The ever smaller LEDs open up a previously unknown freedom of design for designers. Some of our spots and spotlights also feature unique designs as well as modern and unusual shapes, allowing you to set exciting accents in your home. The right ceiling spots and wall spots for every room
NEW HIGHLIGHTS FOR YOUR KITCHEN
Bright light is particularly important in the kitchen, where swivelling spotlights or spotlights are ideal for illuminating precisely those areas where good visibility is needed: for example on the worktop or the shelf to see your favourite cookbook. At the same time, spots are suitable for creating an atmospheric and cosy ambience in the communicative areas of the kitchen with the aid of indirect lighting.
WALL AND CEILING SPOTLIGHTS FOR LIVING ROOMS AND BEDROOMS
For the living room, ceiling spots are recommended - ideally in combination with pendant or suspended lights, table lamps and floor lamps. Wall spots are also very suitable for the living area. This allows, for example, picture walls to be specifically illuminated and put in the right light. Pivoting spotlights are also the ideal choice as a reading lamp over the couch or bed. For your bedroom, wall spotlights with their own on/off switch that can be operated directly from the bed are particularly convenient.
THE RIGHT LIGHT IN THE CORRIDOR AND STUDY
Ceiling spots are very popular for the entrance area because of the above mentioned advantages. Do you have a long, windowless hallway? Then the best choice is to use multi-flame LED spots. You can align them on different sides and thus also illuminate dark corners optimally. In the office and study, ceiling spots provide ideal lighting conditions and thus contribute to concentrated work. Here too, make sure that the spots shine exactly where you need the light, for example at your desk. You can even save yourself an additional desk lamp.
ILLUMINANTS FOR SPOTLIGHTS AND SPOTLIGHTS
Our lights are available either including a permanently installed LED board or with or without LED light source. If no light source is integrated, you can choose from a variety of options and thus determine the light colour yourself. Whichever variant you choose - LED technology basically offers a whole range of advantages. LED bulbs are characterised by a long service life and very low power consumption. In addition, LED technology offers a wide choice in terms of brightness. This is indicated in lumens. The higher the lumen number, the brighter your light is. In addition, LED spotlights and spots can be dimmed to some extent when choosing an appropriate light source. Also, many of our LED spotlights and spots allow a high degree of flexibility in terms of light temperature. This is important because the colour temperature influences how we feel in a room. To create a relaxed environment in the bedroom or lounge area, you should use warm white light. Cold white light is suitable wherever a high level of concentration and visual performance is required, for example in the office or in the work area in the kitchen. LED spots or spotlights with RGB function even go one step further. This is because RGB LEDs are capable of emitting different colours by mixing the three primary colours red, green and blue and also changing the intensity. RGB LEDs therefore consist of three separate LEDs in red, green and blue, housed in a single package. They allow you to create either a stimulating or relaxing atmosphere - simply by pressing a button. In our range you will also find spots and spotlights with RGB function, which you can control conveniently by remote control. We wish you a lot of fun browsing!
