Put your home in the right light - with the interior lighting that suits you and your interiors. The lights from Globo Lighting impress above all with their design: from timelessly elegant to modern, we have the right interior light for every taste and style. EYE-CATCHING PENDANT LIGHTS An open living-dining area is the new trend in residential construction. With open plan it is especially important to slightly visually separate the kitchen, living room and dining areas from each other. This can be achieved by using eye-catching pendant lights. These not only highlight your furnishing style, but also direct the focus to the dining table or living area. This helps to creates a cosy atmosphere and ensures that the dining table and living room are perceived as independent areas. Our tip: If you place a pendant light above the dining table, never hang it too low. Otherwise, you or your guests may bump into it, or the view of the person opposite may be obstructed, which can disturb the conversation. It is quite sufficient if your pendant lamp ends about one meter above the table.
CEILING LIGHTS FOR AMBIENT BRIGHTNESS
The situation is completely different with ceiling lights. They hang so high that they are not noticeable at first sight. The function of ceiling lights is to create an ambient brightness in the living area. This makes them ideal for the vestibule, hallway or cellar. We offer both ceiling lights with permanently installed LED boards as well as those where you can select the light bulb. In our shop you will find the right LED bulb in the desired brightness and light colour. SPOTLIGHTS & SPOTS: THE EVERGREENS Spotlights have been the classics among interior lights for decades and their popularity remains. They are available in different versions - for example with one or more spotlights. Swivelling spotlights offer the advantage that you can adjust the lighting to suit your needs and tilt it to exactly where lighit is required. This means that spotlights provide optimum lighting in the kitchen, pantry and any other areas.
LOTS OF LIGHT WITH LITTLE CURRENT: LED RECESSED SPOTLIGHTS
Recessed LED spotlights that are simply integrated into the ceiling are very popular. Correctly distributed, they provide optimum lighting of your living area and can be combined with pendant and floor lamps as desired. The initial scepticism of many towards LED technology has meanwhile vanished. After all, the advantages in terms of efficiency can hardly be topped: LED lights are not only economical, but also durable.
SETTING ACCENTS WITH FLOOR LAMPS
Floor lamps are an ideal design element for your home, with which you can set wonderful accents. In our online shop you will find a large selection of floor lamps in all possible variations and designs: from three-legged to square, from classic to modern. Floor lamps bring new light to dark corners. But that's not all: they also help to structure the room and provide the necessary light to relax while reading a book or working on your laptop.
OUR DECORATIVE LAMPS: FROM STRIKING TO DISCREET
Decorative lamps are themselves small works of art and add the finishing touch to your home: they enhance your style and beautifully round off your interior. From porcelain table lamps to LED fairy lights and colourful table lamps, you will find the right product for your individual style.
CHANGING THE MOOD IN A ROOM WITH THE RIGHT LIGHT
Ideally, your home should have a combination of indirect and direct lighting. In addition, light temperature and brightness have a great influence on the mood in the room. We can help you to better understand how to select the appropriate light temperature and brightness for each room- and what RGB and dimmable lights can achieve.
LIGHT TEMPERATURE: WARM WHITE, NEUTRAL WHITE OR COLD WHITE
The Kelvin number provides information about the light temperature of an light: the lower it is, the "warmer" the light appears, whilst a cool light effect is associated with a high Kelvin number. But how does the light temperature affect the perception of space? Warm white light is perceived as particularly homely and is therefore particularly suitable for the living room or bedroom. It has a colour temperature of up to 3,300 Kelvin. The situation is different with neutral white light, which has a stimulating effect. With a light temperature of between 3,300 and 4,600 Kelvin, it is ideal for the bathroom, but also for the hallway or work area. At around 6,000 Kelvin, we speak of daylight white light. A light of this light temperature is particularly suitable for use in the office as it promotes alertness.
THE RIGHT BRIGHTNESS FOR EVERY ROOM
Depending on the location, a different brightness will also be desired: in the bathroom and hallway, for example, you will need a slightly brighter light source than, for example, for the wall light in the living room. In the case of LED lights, the luminous intensity is specified in lumens. The higher the lumen number, the brighter the light.
DIMMABLE LIGHTS AND RGB LIGHTS
With our dimmable models, you can switch between lighter and darker lighting to suit your mood and the time of day. Depending on the model, control is possible either via the switch or a remote control. This allows you to change the atmosphere in the room at the touch of a button! In most cases, RBG lights (RGB= red-green-blue) can also be controlled by remote control. These are lights where the light colour and light temperature can be changed at the same time. With red-green-blue lights you can create many different light colours, all based on and with the help of these three primary colours. Many lights that can be controlled by remote control also have a memory function. This means that the last setting you selected is saved and used instead of the default setting the next time you switch on. Pretty smart!
SMART LIGHT: THE NEW TRENDS FOR YOUR HOME
Even smarter are our intelligent lights - also known as "Smart Light". They enable you to network your entire interior lighting and operate it remotely, either by remote control or voice control, or even via an app. This not only creates comfort and convenience, but also ensures safety: with the help of Smart Light, your interior lighting can even be operated from your holiday. So you can make burglars think you're at home even though you're relaxing by the sea. Installation is very simple and can be done even by a layperson. Smart lights can also be connected to other smart home devices with little effort: for example, in combination with a smart phone it would be possible to switch the light on and off or simply change the light colour and brightness.
